The Birds

A new kind of horror movie...

Venice on My Own

This last cruise we had a double overnight in Venice. (which is amazing!) I decided I would go out on the third day and go shopping. I only found things like Gucci and Versace and whatnot so I ended up buying a glass ring and a hat. A whopping total of 24 Euros. It was an adventurous day though. A very very hot adventurous day. I might have snuck a video in a really neat mask shop. Saint Marks Square and some gondolas are in there as well. =)

The Scottish

So far, this current cruise is absolutely amazing. Not only are our audiences full and dancing around during the shows, but the cruise has SO MANY Scottish families! And the Scottish know how to live it up. Add some Austrailians in the mix and this cruise just became a party boat. Every night after the shows we go up to the Panorama Lounge (becomes the disco floor) and dance our butts off! If I don't master a Scottish accent by the end of this cruise...something is terribly wrong.

So during this cruise there was a Scottish mother who I'm pretty sure wanted to marry me off to her 21 year old son. I'm not gonna lie, duel citizenship in Scotland would be pretty amazing, but alas I am in love with someone else...who doesn't make me feel like I'm a 24 year old cougar. haha.

She was so cute and felt like she wanted to "take care of me" and make sure I was comfortable all the time. Adorable. Anyways, she invited me to stay with them in Scotland. If I find someone to travel with, this just might be a sweet and free place to stay. If she ever e-mails me the pictures she took then I will post them. =)  Until then, here is the entire group of Scottish families.

sorry, it's dark...

Venice

There will be plenty of stories and more photos from Venice, but as of right now, this is all that I have. Cheers!

...Rebecca, Duke and myself decided to spend the day in Venice together walking around and attempting to find the library where Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade was shot. We ended up getting lost for about 3 hours. Later in the evening we, the entire cast, wanted to meet up for dinner. A couple of months ago a very sweet Austrailian couple became so close to us and loved our work. At the end of their stay the two of them gave us $300 (Austrailian dollars) so we could go out as a cast for dinner. It was a kind gesture that we really wanted to make sure we took advanage.

Long story short, the meeting place in Venice became a wild goose chase trying to find Gabe and Reid, but when we finally were able to get everyone together we got the cast time together we rarely get to have when not in rehearsal. Thanks Moira and Bob!

we finally found the library!

We had different points of location in order to not miss Gabe. He was by another bridge...

We found everyone! CAST dinner!

performance photos

Sometimes during these cruises we, the "Artisits of Silversea", tend to get close to the guests. This particular family decided to immediately make friends with us and photograph almost all of our performances.

Secret Base

When we cruised through the Black Sea we had ports in Bulgaria, Romania, and the Ukraine. Here is a short video of pictures from a tour I went on in the Ukraine. It was a secret submarine base. I know what you're thinking, and yes, it was pretty freakin awesome!

Pompei

I'm not sure how many times I asked "where are all of the dead people?" during this excursion, but when we finally found some...I was almost satisfied. I've never felt so morbid, but all I really wanted to see were preserved people from Pompei and I soon found out they were all taken to a museum. Oh well, it was still a very neat experience walking through this ancient city that once existed and thrived.
